Located about 11 miles from the hotel (approximately 25 minutes). Transportation is still being finalized (you will be informed later). Maps will be provided as part of the package.
Note: If you are planning to rent cars during the tournament, please let the System/Host Committee know ASAP. Also, the laws in Vegas are very strict on drinking and driving.
TOURNAMENT ELIGIBILITY
To constitute a team, a station registering in the tournament, must have no more than 15 players and no less than 5 players (including coaches etc.).
Additional Players: If you are interested in playing and are not on a team, please submit your name to Pierre.Williams@aircanada.ca to be included on the list. These players will complete any teams that are short-handed.
AIR CANADA SYSTEM EVENT
• Participation is open to all permanent, part-time, retired and laid-off pass eligible employees of Air Canada (and all subsidiaries part of the ACE Holdings such as Jazz, Aveos, etc) and their dependants. All players must be A/C pass-eligible (excluding partner passes) in order to qualify for the teams. Employees on suspension, pending discharge do not qualify. All participants must be members in good standing of their local ACRA if an ACRA exists at their location.
• NON-AIRLINE PLAYERS: To aide a team in need of players, up to 2 non-airline players per team is allowed. A non-airline player is considered to be a player that does NOT fit in the above statement about participation. These players (if you decide to use them), will need to be associate members of their local ACRA in order to participate in the tournament. You will need to clearly indicate these players on the roster form with your team entry.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The tournament will be a round-robin format. Playoffs will be held at the end of the round-robin based on the final standings. The winner of the playoffs is declared champion.
A complete set of rules will be provided at the annual meeting on May 30th.

The Banquet will be outside the hotel at HOFBRAUHAUS LAS VEGAS which is a beer-garden located about 2 miles from the hotel.

ATTENTION: TEAM REPRESENTATIVES
• Each person staying at the Hotel must be listed on the attached RELEASE FORM. Please deal directly with the Hotel for team reservations as a group. Any communications relating to accommodations must be between you and the hotel. Deadline for registration is May 1st , 2011. After that date, rates are not guaranteed.
• The Team Registration form must be completed, signed by each player and returned with your team entry fees and activity package fees for each player. Any special information section must be completed on the team entry form.
• Please send a cheque for the team activity package fees ($75 USD per player and guest).
• Please pick-up your team activity packages upon arrival at the hotel between 13:00 and 17:00 (Check Hotel Lobby for location). You MUST submit your release form and team registration form if you have not sent them earlier and pay any outstanding fees not previously paid BEFORE you can pick-up the activity packages.
• All Fees in Canadian dollars or US Dollars payable to: PIERRE WILLIAMS. This is because we want to collect all the money and forward it to Chad in a lump sum in US dollars. Since it is expensive to create and maintain a commercial account, we have elected to use one person to collect all the money.
• No personal cheque will be accepted as payment upon arrival in Las Vegas on May 30th.
