This year's System Softball Tournament is being held in Winnipeg, Manitoba

DIAMONDS: John Blumberg Softball Complex, 4540 Portage Avenue
Located about 10 KM from the hotel (approximately 15 minutes). Transportation will be provided by the Host Committee. Maps will be provided as part of the package for those who wish to drive to the fields.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:
The tournament will be a round-robin format. Playoffs will be held at the end of the round-robin based on the final standings. The winner of the playoffs is declared champion of its division. A complete set of rules will be provided at the annual meeting on June 22nd.

AIR TRANSPORTATION:
REQUEST FOR PASSES: All participants will be required to travel on their personal pass priority.

Eligibility

• To constitute a team, a station registering in the tournament must have no more than 15 players and no less than 5 players (including coaches etc.). If you are interested in playing and are not on a team, please submit your name to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to be included on a list of additional players. These players will complete any teams that are short-handed.
• Participation is open to all permanent, part-time, retired and laid-off pass eligible employees of Air Canada (and all subsidiaries part of the ACE Holdings such as Jazz, Aveos, etc) and their dependants.  All players must be A/C pass-eligible (excluding partner passes) in order to qualify for the teams.  Employees on suspension, pending discharge do not qualify.  All participants must be members in good standing of their local ACRA if an ACRA exists at their location.
• NON-AIRLINE PLAYERS: To aide a team in need of players, up to 2 non-airline players per team is allowed. A non-airline player is considered to be a player that does NOT fit in the above statement about participation. These players (if you decide to use them), will need to be associate members of their local ACRA in order to participate in the tournament. You will need to clearly indicate these players on the roster form with your team entry.

2 Queen beds in each room (Max occupancy 4 adults) OR
1 King bed (Max occupancy 2 adults (3 with a cot – there is a limited number of King rooms)

COST to the AIRPORT $18-20 (taxi time takes 10-15 minutes)
PARKING AT THE HOTEL IS $15.00/night
